Arrived on time and told service tech I was there for my complimentary oil change and tire rotation . He said okay they would get right on it. After being told my Santa Fe was done he had me come out to sign paperwork and said I was good to go. After pulling out off the service bay I stopped to check over paperwork. Right away I noticed there was no mention that they did the tire rotation. Very disappointed in the follow up off the service tech, I feel he was probably not even listening to what I said when I arrived. I did not have the time to go back in and wait more time.
The sales staff is top notch. I had them grab a car from another Walser just to bring my business to them.
Samson was awesome to work with! Inviting us to come and drive the vehicle we ultimately purchased after connecting near closing time. The buying process was super smooth; he walked us through each step and took the time to ask us if we had questions as we worked through it. I had to call to check on my vehicle status several times cause the app was never updated after the initial check in.
Came for my regular service on our Hyundai Palisade. The service was good but it took more than 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation even though I had an appointment. The service representative tried to charge us for the service even though it's covered as part of our new vehicle purchase.
We purchased a 2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid from Walser Hyundai in January of this year. The purchase, for the most part, was a great experience. We drove 230 miles to make this purchase, as this was the absolute best price we found for this particular model. The Elantra has been great up until the point we were hit by a driver running a stop sign. When it was being repaired by a local body shop, the shop noticed there was slight damage to the rim, so they needed to remove the tire to make repairs to the rim. However, they informed us that the wheel lock key for the locking lug nuts was missing from it's case in the trunk floor compartment. The case was there but the key was missing. To expedite the process, the body shop was able to order a replacement key for $60. When we called Walser to ask to be reimbursed for the missing key, they informed us they would not be able to do that. Their claim was that it was because it was a used car, and there were no guarantees of equipment and that the purchase was made 4 months ago. I have a few problems with these reasons for denying our reimbursement claim. First, while it was technically a used vehicle, it was also a program vehicle, being used by Walser as their service loaner vehicle, so it was never sold to another party prior to us purchasing it. Secondly, we had inquired whether the tires had been rotated prior to purchase and they informed us that, in fact, they had just been rotated, due to a tire needing a repair. What this tells me, looking back on this, is that they used the key to remove the tire, and forgot to replace it. We called our original salesperson, and also spoke to a sales manager and gave them the opportunity to make this right, but in the end, they refused to compensate us the $60. Honestly, I was shocked that they weren't willing to do what was right and risk losing us as future customers over $60. This was our second hyundai/kia purchase and both times we have driven over 3 hours to make these purchases. It seems like we no longer have to bother looking at Walser for our next vehicle.
Customer service poor communication. Vehicle two separate visits for repair. Both times the vehicle was there two days, customer service does not answer there phones and they do not return voice mail calls. Only way I get them to call back is talk to someone outside off customer service desk to get them to call me back.
Sales and Management staff were patient while we waited for our credit union to get the commercial auto loan approved and funded
Came in later in the afternoon on a Saturday, Timothy Strobel helped me. He was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and help advocate with the lender while they were attempting to lower my credit class. The entire team there was great, manager checked in multiple times, everyone was kind, helpful, and advocated for the customer. Great experience, will certainly go back again!
Service was timely and nice surprise to receive bill for $0 for first service appointment!
The dealership was clean and well-organized, making it a great place to shop for a new car. I was surprised they didn’t have any snack vending machines, which I’ve seen at most other dealerships. I liked how the vehicles were displayed right at the entrance to catch your eye. Alex was amazing—friendly, polite, honest, and respectful. He guided me to the vehicle I wanted, and although we couldn’t test drive the exact one I was interested in, he made sure I could test drive a similar model in different colors. His customer service was excellent. The only downside was the pressure from the finance team to purchase additional items, like extended warranties. I didn’t plan on buying more warranties since I wasn’t sure I’d keep the car until the warranty expired (15 years), but I felt pressured and ended up buying it—though I later decided to cancel it. Overall, it’s a great place to shop for a car. If you’re working with Alex, you’ll be in good hands. Great job!
