I brought my car in for an oil change and the multi-point inspection was all green across the board despite squealing coming from my wheels, 8mm noted on all 4 brake pads. A week later my rear passenger wheel was grinding. When I took it to a different shop for this issue they noted 6mm on the front brake pads and the right rear brake caliper piston had seized resulting in needing new rotors, pads and calipers.
