How to Fix BlueLink Connection Issues

If your BlueLink services are still not working after the outage, follow these steps to restore connectivity:

Perform a Head Unit (Infotainment System) Reset

  1. Start your vehicle (Ignition ON).
  2. Locate the reset pinhole: Most Hyundai models have a small, unmarked hole near the volume knob. Insert a paperclip or similar tool and press for 5-10 seconds.
  3. Alternative Reset Method: If your vehicle does not have a pinhole reset, press and hold the Map and Setup hard buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
  4. The screen will go dark and reset within approximately two minutes.

After performing a reset, try using your BlueLink services again to see if connectivity has been restored.

BlueLink Not Working? Additional Troubleshooting Tips

If your BlueLink services are still experiencing issues after performing a reset, consider these troubleshooting steps:

  • Check for Software Updates: Go to the settings menu in your infotainment system and look for available updates.
  • Ensure a Strong Cellular Connection: BlueLink relies on cellular data. If you are in an area with weak signal coverage, try moving to a location with better reception.
  • Verify Your BlueLink Subscription: Ensure that your subscription is active and has not expired.
  • Restart Your Smartphone & Reconnect to BlueLink App: Sometimes, issues can stem from the app itself. Restart your phone and log back into the BlueLink app.
  • Contact Hyundai BlueLink Support: If problems persist, call (855) 225-8354 for further assistance.
