What Does the Hyundai Warranty Cover?

The Hyundai warranty covers a variety of issues that may arise while you're enjoying your new vehicle. The Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the cost of repairing or replacing key powertrain components in the transmission and engine. Plus, subsequent owners can enjoy powertrain coverage for up to five years or 60,000 miles when they require Hyundai service.

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers the repair or replacement of any equipment originally manufactured or installed by Hyundai that becomes defective under normal use and maintenance. This can include your entertainment system, battery, heat, A/C and other equipment. Curious about a Hyundai paint warranty? The New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers Hyundai paint for three years or 36,000 miles.

The Anti-Perforation Warranty covers rust and decay of the body panel from the inside through to the outside. You can also enjoy 24-hour roadside assistance for five years. This becomes active on the date of delivery. The Replacement Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty can cover the replacement of OEM Hyundai parts if they break down under normal use and maintenance, and the lifetime Hybrid Battery Warranty will keep your Hyundai hybrid running well for as long as you own it. What Is Not Covered By the Hyundai Warranty?

America's Best Warranty covers many issues that your car may experience, but there are a few exceptions. Under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, wear items such as brake pads, belts, filters, bulbs and more are covered for the first year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Anti-Perforation Warranty doesn't cover surface corrosion, and components are usually only covered if they're genuine Hyundai parts. Talk to a Walser Hyundai parts specialist if you have any questions about what's not covered by the Hyundai warranty.

How Does the Hyundai Warranty Compare to the Competition?

The Hyundai warranty is truly America's Best Warranty. The Powertrain Limited Warranty will keep your engine covered for 10 years or 100,000 miles, much longer than warranties from Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Chevrolet or Lexus. The Hyundai warranty also offers longer coverage with the New Vehicle Limited Warranty at five years or 60,000 miles; you'd only get three years or 36,00 miles of coverage if you bought a Toyota, Honda or Nissan.
